Job Title: Graduate Administrator
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, 1 hour lunch (35 hours)
Location: Near Solihull
Salary: £22,750 per annum
Benefits: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and pension scheme

Our client is looking for a graduate to join their team as an Administrator. The successful candidate will have a nonlaw based degree but a keen interest in pursuing a career in law. They will have the opportunity to prove themselves in an administration based role for 6 – 12 months and if successful would progress on to working towards their paralegal qualification, and eventually a solicitor apprenticeship.

Duties include:

* Front of house, meeting and greeting clients and providing refreshments.
* Ensuring all meeting rooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy to a high standard.
* Answering and redirecting telephone calls.
* Daily administration jobs including arranging meetings, diary management and appointment making.
* Postal duties, preparing and sorting.
* Preparation and collation of documents including audio typing, administration and filing.
* Supporting all colleagues.
* Keeping all the firms and client’s documentation and information confidential.
* Willing to take responsibility towards self-development and training when asked.

Skills and experience required:

* Excellent administration and secretarial skills.
* High degree of self-management and initiative.
* Strong IT skills.
* Excellent organisation skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.
* The ability to work in a discreet and confidential manner.
* High standard of English, including spelling and grammar.
* Have a keen interest in law and business.
* Possess a polite, friendly, and professional demeanour.
