Job Title:          Scheduling Coordinator

Contract:        Permanent

Hours:              Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Location:         Solihull

Salary:             Up to £30,000 per annum

Benefits:          20 days holiday increasing to 25 days holiday after 12 months employment + 8 bank holidays, your birthday off, discretionary annual bonuses and monthly full-attendance bonuses, free parking, company pension, freshly built offices surrounded by natural, rural charm and daily doggy cuddles!

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join a fast-paced, dynamic business in Solihull. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for coordinating and planning the daily workloads of a team of engineers, ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently based on location, skillset, and urgency.

If you’ve previously worked in a scheduling or planning role where you’ve been communicating directly with engineers, managing diaries, and supporting customers, this could be the perfect next step.

This is more than just a job, it’s a chance to become part of a friendly and supportive team where no two days are the same, and yes, you’ll be greeted by a very friendly office dog each morning! They’re looking to get someone on board quickly, so if you’re available and experienced in scheduling engineers or coordinating field-based teams, we’d love to hear from you.

Duties include:

  • Coordinating daily engineer schedules and job planning.
  • Liaising directly with engineers to confirm job details, changes, or updates throughout the day.
  • Managing inbound enquiries via phone and email with confidence and accuracy.
  • Using Microsoft Excel and CRM Systems to manage service cases and log activities.
  • Logging and updating service requests and prioritising tasks efficiently.
  • Delivering top-notch customer service at all times.
  • Monitoring service performance and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Handling urgent and time-sensitive service jobs with efficiency and calm under pressure.
  • Maintaining a professional and positive relationship with customers and engineers.
  • Supporting the wider operations team to ensure service level agreements are met.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience in scheduling engineers, service coordination, or a similar fast-paced operational role.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to drive due to office location.
  • Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner when speaking to engineers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Excellent administration, communication and organisational skills.
  • A high degree of self-management and initiative.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • A cool head under pressure and the ability to juggle priorities.

If you feel that you have the necessary skills and experience required to fulfil this role, apply or get in touch with Tirebuck Recruitment for more information.

If successful, one of our consultants will be in touch via phone or email for a confidential conversation about your experience, skills and suitability for the role. Please check your spam folder for any missed communication from us and ensure your contact details are up to date.
