Job Title: PR and Social Media Manager
Location: Nr Solihull
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a brand new role within the business. They are looking for a PR and Social Media Manager to work as part of an established Marketing team, at their stunning offices near Solihull.
” Create and circulate all PR communications, including press packs, photography and news
” Formulate and implement on-going communication plans, including launches, maintaining and continuously innovate, to drive new approaches that generate media interest
” Working closely with Marketing to ensure PR news and activities are maximised and creative themes are used to build a consistent brand presence
” Organise and attend press events to promote products to key media contracts, either UK specific or Europe
” Develop and maintain excellent relationships with UK journalists and media
” Monitor media coverage, collating and sharing important articles with Key stakeholders, educate and inspire the regional teams and network to develop local PR initiatives
” Management of PR budget
” Develop social media strategy for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn aligned with PR and marketing activity
” Develop content and manage content calendar for all social channels
” Develop a solid approach to KPIs, measurement and analysis for all PR and Social Media, reporting to key stakeholders on a regular basis
Skills and experience required:
” Minimum 3 years’ experience in a media facing role, preferably within the motor industry
” Degree or further education educated, preferably with a PR or Journalistic background
” A UK driving licence and availability to travel within the UK and overseas, flexibility to work away overnight/ over weekends if required
” Good business and commercial awareness, with a clear understanding of how PR and social media compliment wider marketing and business strategy
” Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace; must be able to manage multiple projects at one time
” Excellent verbal and written communication, including copy writing
” Accuracy and attention to detail
