Job Title: Receptionist
Hours: Full time 08:30am until 17:00pm
Location: Outskirts of Birmingham B31
Hourly rate: £10 per hour DOE
A growing and established business are looking to recruit an organised and well presented individual to work on their corporate Reception, supporting the business and a smaller administration team. This will begin as a temporary ongoing contract with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Duties include:
*Handling incoming calls into the business in a professional manner and transferring calls internally
*Taking effective messages for departments and managers
*Meeting and greeting visitors in the office and advising on health and safety onsite
*Setting up meeting rooms such as refreshments, audio equipment and stationary
*Handling deliveries and post into the business
*Organising meeting room diaries
*Booking travel and accommodation for employees and management
*Responsible for digital and paper archiving and filing
*Monitoring office security with employee key fobs
*Order office stationary and supplies
*Act as first point of contact for any office issues
*Adhoc administration support as required by the business
Key Skills and Experience:
*Excellent verbal communication skills
*”Can do” positive attitude
*Calm under pressure
*Proven experience in Reception, customer service or hosting
*Adaptable to changing work environment
