Job Title: Administrator

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part time – 30 hours per week, flexible working patten hours between 6am – 6pm

Salary: £22,000 pro rata,

Benefits: 25 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays, auto enrolment pension, death in service 3 x salary

Location: North Birmingham

Description –

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in North Birmingham. The role is to support the Training and Development Manager with all administration and at an exciting time to work on the implementation of a new IT system, the role requires someone with strong attention to detail and excellent people skills.

Key Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the Training and Development Manager
  • Ensure appropriate certificates are provided and recorded
  • Ensure up-to-date records of all training delivered are maintained
  • Manage and maintain training recording systems and trackers
  • Provide information relevant to training provision
  • Liaise with external suppliers re course bookings, invoicing
  • Assist in the delivery/maintenance of the company induction programme
  • Managing administration of the training calendar and mailbox
  • Support Training & Development Manager to set up training events for internal and external trainers
  • Support factory-based Trainers with any ad hoc queries or requirements
  • Contact people via telephone and/or face to face, relevant to business requirements
  • Ensure that all HR/training records are kept in line with GDPR including scanning
  • Provide general administrative duties to include taking notes and tying up notes from meetings

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent IT skills including all Microsoft packages and databases
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly and efficiently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Able to Multi-task and prioritise an ever-changing workload
  • Strong communication skills both face to face and over the phone and written
