Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Contract:3 x month temporary contract – 18.5 hours per week
Our client is currently recruiting for a Payroll Clerk to provide accurate payroll accounting for the business in a timely manner. This is a part time temporary contract to last approximately 3 months, may be extended until December 2017.
*Process all Payroll changes including: claims, pay schedules, updates.
*Provide a professional, responsive frontline service with internal and external customers (i.e. HMRC, tax office, pension administrators etc.)
*Excellent communication skills – ensure that e-mails and phone calls are handled in an appropriate and timely manner.
*Provide administrative support to the team when required: filing, shredding, post.
*Support the maintenance and ongoing development of HR/Payroll systems.
*Work closely when required to other teams and departments.
Key Skills and Experience:
*Solid knowledge and experience of payroll accounting and processing.
*Provide an efficient payroll service to customers ensuring accurate and timely payment.
*Good IT skills.
*Ability to prioritise and adapt to cope under significant pressure.
*Proactive, self-motivated, organised and diligent with an attention to detail.
