Working on behalf of a successful and growing company, we are currently recruiting for a Payroll Co-Ordinator. You will be responsible for the accurate, timely and efficient of payroll data. You will be supporting the Payroll Manager with analysing and implementing process improvements to benefit the department and the wider business.

Duties include:

*To be responsible for processing the weekly and monthly payrolls. To include starter, leaver, amendments, absence, overtime, statutory payments and pensions
*Deal with discrepancies and queries relating to payroll and resolve or escalate as appropriate
*Support the monthly financial accounting requirements of the business, to include report generation, producing weekly/monthly payroll journals, reconciliations, etc
*Assist with the administration of the Company Pension Scheme’s
*Raising monthly and ad hoc payroll related payments
*Assist with the input and processing of P11D’s and deal with associated queries
*Assist the Payroll Manager with company and year-end processes
*Keep documentation of processes and procedures updated
*Support any Payroll/HR projects as required

Skills and experience required:

*Previous Payroll experience
*Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
*Excellent organisation skills
*Able to prioritise workload and work to strict deadlines
*Strong numerical ability
*Attention to detail
*Professional, confident and a ‘can do’ attitude
