Job Title:Deputy Manager – Automotive
Salary:up to £31,500 per annum, dependant on experience
Working on behalf of a prestigious international organisation based in Solihull, we are currently recruiting for a highly professional, experienced and well-presented Deputy Manager and Vehicle Specialist. Passionate about exceeding customer expectations, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager with the running of a high profile bespoke venue, who in the main is responsible for handing over luxury vehicles to high net worth clients. The role requires a passion for luxury high end vehicles with an ability to develop product knowledge of the vehicles to an exceptional standard.
This is a full-time role, with the requirement for weekend working and unsocial hours on occasions.
oHosting guests, ensuring their needs are constantly met – these guests might include vehicle owners, VIP’s drawn from Royalty, Government and Military.
oSupporting the Venue Manager in the daily operation of the Venue.
oPlaying a vital role in the VIP Vehicle Handover and configuration process, both hosting and preparation.
oAssisting the Venue Manager with future forecasting of requirements and balancing customer demand with available resources.
oSupporting the Venue Manager in the resource management of the venue.
oAssisting with general duties and presentation of facilities on a daily basis.
oAssisting with the reporting of customer metrics on a monthly basis.
oAssisting with the quarterly business review for the venue.
oResponsibility for managing all admin staff in the Venue Manager’s absence.
oSupporting front of house duties including welcoming guests.
oSupport with travel and chauffeur arrangements for guests as requested
oSupport core venue team to ensure efficient delivery of venue activities and ensuring that all runs smoothly.
oLead responsibility for the upkeep of facility standards in the building including all customer environments, arranging maintenance of equipment and scene setting.
oSupport the core venue team with ordering and maintaining all customer beverages/refreshments on offer in the SVC.
oSupport the production of detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, and suppliers, legal obligations, providing worksheets, staffing, vehicles and budgets).
Skills, experience and qualifications required:
oImmaculate presentation is vital.
oIdeally experienced in a service oriented luxury environment, dealing with VIP’s.
oManagerial or supervisory experience is essential.
oMust demonstrate a passion and good working knowledge of the automotive industry.
oMust hold full UK driving licence.
oOutstanding communication skills verbal and written.
oSocially confident, diplomatic and accustomed to international etiquette.
oMust have the ability to handle multiple requests in a timely manner.
oEnthusiasm, drive, commitment, and the confidence to achieve goals with minimal supervision.
oGood organisation and planning skills.
oBe numerate with an excellent grasp of Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Power Point etc.
