Job Title: Event Manager
Hours: Full time
Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 plus car allowance
Location: Near Solihull, West Midlands
A forward thinking and dynamic marketing and events agency based near Solihull is seeking to appoint a competent and experienced event manager to manage a portfolio of high-profile events for a prestigious automotive client base.
This is a varied and diverse role that requires somebody with proven event-management skills who can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Managing a portfolio of events at any one time, your responsibilities will include:
*Overall management of high-profile events from start to finish working within a defined budget to tight deadlines both within the UK and overseas.
*Planning the event and working with the client to ensure the event conveys their brand effectively.
*Designing marketing materials to ensure the event is directed at the target market and advertised accordingly.
*Responsible for overseeing and working with contractors to ensure the event is built to the correct specification and adheres to health and safety regulations and is delivered on time.
*Responsible for overseeing contractors, and dealing with VIP guests and complaints.
*Attending and managing the event and acting as a main point of contact throughout the event.
*Working closely with the client to ensure the event has been effective and evaluating the success of the event.
The successful candidate will thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment and enjoy working with some of the most prestigious brands in the automotive industry. You will be flexible and able to commit to working some weekends and evenings when events are taking place. You will have a minimum of 3 years’ ‘hands-on’ events experience and ideally have experience working with automotive clients.
