Tirebuck opens new office and merges teams to support new division

news

Local entrepreneur, Karen Tirebuck, Managing Director of Tirebuck Recruitment, based in Solihull, announced the merger of the company’s two teams of recruitment experts this week to coincide with the opening of new offices in Knowle, and the launch of a new division.

Tirebuck has merged its Solihull team of recruitment specialists with those from Allocate Recruitment, the company it acquired in April 2007 in a bid to offer clients a more efficient, cost effective service and support the launch of a new Executive Division.

The new Tirebuck Recruitment team will officially open the doors of their new offices at Chester Court in Knowle next Wednesday, and have joined forces to develop a new division offering high calibre middle and senior managers in the Permanent, Executive and Interim market place across the West Midlands.

The interim market for senior executives has been fuelled recently by companies seeking specialist, short term help to manage change, restructure their businesses and avoid increasing long-term overheads.

Speaking about the new service, Karen Tirebuck, Managing Director of Tirebuck Recruitment, said:

“Our newly merged team of dedicated consultants, based in Solihull, will offer clients who choose to work with us on an exclusive, retained basis, preferential rates and a premium high level of service.

“The Allocate team will retain an office in Stratford Upon Avon which means that both geographical regions benefit from the strength and knowledge of a cohesive team which will be able to maintain consistent, on-going support for local Stratford clients and candidates.

“In order to reduce costs, some companies may be tempted to manage all of their recruitment in-house, but this is often a mistake. While technology has made advertising jobs much easier, it is also too easy to send applications and these can be extremely time consuming and costly for HR managers to sift through.

“When companies work with us on a retained and exclusive basis, we have the potential to relieve the pressure while adding significant value to the process in terms of managing all the advertising, assessing candidates and delivering a definitive short list for first interview.

“We will be running a free seminar for local Solihull businesses in April, in conjunction with our HR partner, to show companies how they can reduce their recruitment costs during 2009, and companies can contact me for more information on Karen@tirebuck.co.uk.”
