Sales Manager (French Speaking) 22-28K (OTE up to 35K)

Working on behalf of an international company, based at their UK Head Office, in the Solihull,West Midlands area, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager (business to business) with fluent French skills. (if you are a little out of practice the company will provide classes to get you back up to speed)

This company has a niche product range which is hugely succesful in France. The company now want to bring this product to the Uk and utilise the existing client database they have in the UK for a different product range. New businss development is vital to this role


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to set up a new in-house sales team, involving the transfer and duplication of processes from their international office to the UK.


In addition to setting up the processes, you will actively generate new business yourself - therefore an enthusiastic and proactive approach is essential. You must also be highly motivated and have a track record of winning business OVER THE TELEPHONE and feel comfortable to lead by example in order to achieve results.

This product is very established and is already successful in France. There is an extensive database of live clients to build on. OTE is calculated from a number of different areas to include your own performance, team productivity and yearly results.

The following skills are essential:

Fluent French essential, ideally having used the language in a business environment

Previous experience of having worked in a telesales/outbound environment, office based.


Man-management/supervisory experience

Able to provide examples of having lead and motivated a sales team to achieve results

Previous Sales experience in a B2B role

Happy to work in an office based sales role with an initial induction in France and occasional UK travel to meet with larger clients

Proactive, decisive with good negotiation skills

Experience in managing contracts and tenders an advantage

In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience, plus OTE of up to 35k, along with an excellent benefits package to include 22 days holiday and free parking.
